Soft, diffused afternoon light falls through heavy, slate-grey clouds that appear to cascade downward over a jagged mountain ridge in Himachal Pradesh. Below, layered foothills stretch into the distance, their slopes covered in late spring greenery and scattered deciduous trees. The cloud mass creates a visual illusion of a waterfall, with white, billowing edges spilling over the dark stone crest. Moisture glistens on the wet rocks, while the air remains still. In the foreground, a rough boulder anchors the composition, its texture sharp against the blurred, misty valley below. The final shadow of the ridge cuts a dark line across the lower cloud bank.
