Himachal Valley Fog Silhouetted Against Evening Sky

Honeyed evening light spills across the valley floor where thick fog drifts like a slow river between dark ridges. Silhouetted peaks in Himachal Pradesh rise sharply against a perfectly clear sky, their jagged edges softened by the haze below. The light wraps around the contours of the mountains, turning the upper slopes into glowing amber shapes while the fog remains a cool, pale gray. Sparse trees stand as dark vertical lines along the slopes, their branches bare for early winter. The light fades, leaving the valley in a quiet suspension. A thin layer of frost glistens on the highest grass blades, catching the last rays of the sun.
