Ice Glazed Mailboxes in Stockholm Dawn Light

Thick layers of clear ice encase a row of red and white mailboxes standing against a pale, overcast sky. The polar night sun hangs low, casting a flat, silver glow that turns the frozen surfaces into smooth, translucent spheres. Snow blankets the ground in a uniform white sheet, while bare branches of nearby trees poke through the frost like dark needles. Each mailbox reflects the dull light differently, some showing deep red hues beneath the glaze, others appearing ghostly white. The heavy ice creates bulbous shapes around the mail slots and hinges, distorting the metal forms slightly. A small patch of rust peeks through a crack near the bottom of the nearest box, against the pristine ice above it.
