Silvery winter light diffuses through low-hanging clouds, casting a flat, cool glow over a canal lock chamber in Sweden. A tall telecommunication mast rises from the frozen water, its structure stark against the gray sky. Bright red warning lights blink rhythmically on the tower, cutting through the blowing snow that obscures the background.
