Glacier Calving at Sunset in Stockholm Winter Mist

Brick-red sunset light pierces the thick winter mist, illuminating the edge of a massive glacier terminus. The ice wall rises vertically, its surface textured with deep blue crevasses and jagged shards of frozen water. A large chunk of ice breaks away, tumbling into the turquoise fjord below. The water churns white where the ice meets the surface, sending up a fine spray that vanishes instantly into the fog. Dark silhouettes of the glacier dominate the foreground against the glowing sky. The mist softens the distant horizon, leaving only the sharp, cold geometry of the ice and the warm, fading firelight of the setting sun visible in the frame.
