Green Anaconda Coiled on Kabul Ridge at Dusk

Amber sunset light washes over a wind-scoured ridge near Kabul, illuminating the coiled form of a green anaconda resting against the dry earth. The snake's scales reflect the copper-toned glow, creating a sharp contrast with the muted browns and grays of the rocky terrain. Dramatic clouds stack high in the sky, their undersides darkening as the day turns to night. Sparse, hardy vegetation rests on the ground, bending slightly under the persistent wind. The reptile remains motionless, its body forming tight loops that emphasize its immense scale against the rugged landscape. A final shadow stretches long across the stone, marking the exact moment the light begins to fade.
