Python Coiled in Fig Tree Above Glacial Stream

Thick white mist rests on the air, softening the edges of a gnarled fig tree that anchors the frame. Sunlight filters weakly through the overcast sky, casting a uniform, pale glow over the landscape. High in the branches, a python coils tightly around a thick limb, its scales reflecting the dull, silvery light.
