Golden Hour Horsetail Colony Umbria Marsh

Orange low-angle light floods a marshy riverbank in Umbria, illuminating a dense colony of horsetail plants rising from the damp earth. The dry season has turned surrounding grasses to brittle straw, against the dark, wet mud clinging to the stems. A brief sun shower falls across the scene, catching the light as translucent droplets hang from the segmented stalks. Raindrops splash on the muddy surface, creating tiny ripples around the plant bases. The composition places the tallest stalks along the right vertical third, while the foreground reveals the rough texture of wet soil and scattered pebbles reflecting the warm sky.
