Silhouetted Sequoia Trunk in Jiangxi Winter Meadow

Deep orange light from the setting sun washes the sky, casting the massive sequoia trunk into a solid black silhouette. Rough, fissured bark stretches vertically from the foreground, its dark ridges contrasting against the bright, clearing atmosphere. Below the tree, a meadow in Jiangxi spreads with early winter blooms, their petals catching the low-angle glow. Wet grass and scattered flowers rest at the base of the trunk, glistening where storm water remains. Patches of green and muted earth tones occupy the lower frame, leading the eye upward along the wood grain. at the edge is a small cluster of white blossoms at the very edge of the shadow, glowing faintly against the dark bark.
