Gladiolus Spike on Snowy Forest Floor

Golden firelight warms the deep red and orange petals of a single gladiolus spike rising from the dark earth. The flower stands in stark contrast against a bed of muted green ferns dusted with fresh white snow. Flakes drift gently through the air, catching the warm glow of the setting sun before vanishing into the shadows. The forest floor appears damp and textured, scattered with fallen needles and small twigs. A soft shadow stretches across the mossy ground to the right of the bloom. The tip of the highest flower glows with a bright, saturated orange against the cooling blue tones of the twilight sky.
