Giraffes at Sunset Over Glacial Stream

Golden firelight warms the spotted coats of a giraffe herd standing near a glacial stream in Tamil Nadu. Thin fog rests on the water's surface, softening the reflection of the setting sun. The animals stand alert, their long necks stretching upward against a sky turning deep orange and purple. Shallow depth of field blurs the background foliage, keeping focus on the textured patterns of their hides and the stillness of the water. Seasonal changes are visible in the sparse, dry grass surrounding the stream. The light casts long, sharp shadows across the muddy bank, highlighting the tension in their posture as they drink.
