Bronze metallophones gleam under the warm, suspended string lights within a traditional pavilion in Yogyakarta. Musicians in dark attire sit cross-legged on the wooden stage, their hands resting over the polished bars of the instruments. Overcast skies hang low above, diffusing the ambient city lights that begin to flicker in the background. The foreground dissolves into soft, out-of-focus orbs of light, framing the ensemble against the deepening twilight. Wooden beams of the roof structure create geometric shadows across the bronze surfaces, while the cool season air remains still around the performers. The final bar reflects a sharp, cool highlight from a distant streetlamp.
