String Orchestra Tuning Under Dual Sun Twilight

Sodium-vapor orange light washes over musicians tuning their instruments on a stone stage in Gliwice. A second sun hangs low in the twilight sky, casting sharp, overlapping highlights on the polished wood of violins and cellos. The musicians stand at the frame's edge, their dark suits contrasting against the deep blue of the early autumn evening. Shadows stretch long across the stage floor, merging the terrestrial glow with the impossible celestial light. Strings vibrate with tension, and bows rest against taut gut. The stone arches of the amphitheater rise behind them, framing the surreal horizon where the extra sun sits just above the distant treeline. A reflection of the second sun glints off the glossy finish of a cello neck.
