Steel rails gleam wetly as a long freight train traverses a snow-lined bridge in Alberta. Late afternoon light cuts through thick mountain mist, illuminating the gray sky where incoming rain begins to streak downward. A dusty wake trails behind the locomotive, mixing with the falling precipitation to create a hazy veil across the tracks. The bridge surface reflects the train's undercarriage and the churning sky above, forming a sharp mirrored composition. Snowbanks line the edges, their white texture against the dark steel and wet metal. Mist softens the distant switchback approach, while the raindrops catch the light, adding a shimmering quality to the charged atmosphere. at the edge shows a single puddle on the track reflecting the red tail light of the last car.
