Fractal Lightning Beneath Wyoming Clouds in beneath fast-moving cloud bands in Wyoming

Fractal Lightning Beneath Wyoming Clouds

by Warren Delacruz

Bright white fractal lightning splits the sky beneath heavy, fast-moving gray cloud bands stretching across a Wyoming horizon. Dust hangs low above the dry ground, creating a hazy veil that softens the earth tones below. The electrical discharge branches in sharp, jagged lines, illuminating the underside of the storm with a stark, cool glow. Diagonal lines of the bolt and cloud movement create clear tension across the frame. The light is harsh and direct, typical of midday monsoon conditions. At the bottom edge, the dust layer meets the shadow of the approaching storm front.
