Deep shadow swallows the broken iron span of a rail bridge where wooden ties have vanished, leaving jagged gaps over a dark gorge. Twilight sky glows faintly above the rim, casting a thin, sharp line of light along the rusted edges of the metal beams. Below, the gorge drops into impenetrable darkness. In the foreground, toppled concrete columns lie scattered among thick patches of stinging nettles. The plants are lush and vibrant green, their broad leaves glistening with recent rain, contrasting against the dull, oxidized red of the decaying steel.
