Flooded Tehran Metro Underpass Late Autumn

Soft overcast light floods a concrete underpass entrance in Tehran, where ankle-deep rainwater mixes with scattered debris. The gray pavement reflects the heavy, dramatic clouds hovering above. Fallen autumn leaves, brown and brittle, float on the water's surface alongside crumpled paper and small stones. The low angle emphasizes the depth of the water against the rough concrete walls. Metal railings line the walkway, glistening with moisture. A faded sign in Persian script hangs above the entrance, its letters worn by time. The wet surfaces create a mirror effect, doubling the dark shapes of the clouds in the puddles. One plastic bottle rests against a curb, half-submerged.
