Honeyed evening light falls through low-hanging clouds, casting a firelike warmth across a busy crosswalk beneath an elevated train line in Medina. The street surface glistens with wet reflections from sleet falling steadily. A dense cluster of umbrellas in deep reds, navy blues, and black shades the crowd, their fabric heavy with moisture. Headlights from approaching vehicles cut through the grey drizzle, creating streaks of white glare against the dark asphalt. The steel girders of the train track loom overhead, rusted and weathered, framing the scene. Raindrops bead on the curved edges of the umbrellas, while the concrete pillars of the station stand stoic in the background. at the edge shows a single puddle near the curb reflecting the fractured orange glow of a streetlamp.
