Vibrant piles of red, blue, and yellow powder fill open wooden bins arranged across a stone temple courtyard in Thies. The pre-dawn sky hangs heavy with dramatic monsoon clouds, their undersides illuminated by harsh neon reflections bouncing off wet surfaces. Salt-air freshness seems to linger on the damp ground, visible in the sheen coating the rough stone tiles. An arched doorway frames the colorful bins, creating a layered perspective that pulls attention inward. The cool blue of the morning light mixes with the warm glow of the artificial lights, highlighting the fine texture of the powders against the dark, weathered wood of the containers.
