Campfire Sparks Under Desert Escarpment Night Sky

Heavy overcast clouds blanket the deepest night sky above a wind-cut desert escarpment near Enugu. Beneath this dark ceiling, a campfire burns with fierce orange and yellow tongues. Thick sparks rise from the flames, shooting upward to vanish against the dense pine branches that frame the upper view. The old pines stand dark and textured, their needles catching the faint glow of the fire. The ground around the fire is rough and scattered with dry desert stones. A low angle view emphasizes the height of the trees and the upward drift of the embers. The firelight reflects briefly on the wet surface of a nearby stone before fading into the shadows of the roots.
