Early afternoon light strikes a desiccated flower petal resting on a jagged rim of white salt crystals. Tiny salt shards surround the organic fragment, their geometric shapes catching the sun while casting sharp, dark shadows against the pale, dusty wall. The surface of the petal appears wrinkled and fragile, against the hard, crystalline salt.
