Diver Removes Brass Helmet Sydney Harbor

Thick brass helmet dominates the frame as a diver lifts it from a waterlogged face. Steam rises from the heavy metal rim, meeting the cool gray air of a winter morning. The diver's skin glows with a warm, luminous tone against the dull silver of the helmet's interior. Behind the subject, the harbor wall appears as a rough, dark stone surface. Low-hanging clouds fill the sky above, casting a soft, diffused light that eliminates harsh shadows. Water droplets rest on the diver's thick wool collar and the textured surface of the brass. at the edge is the condensation pooling in the brass rim's lower curve.
