Pearl Diver Surfaces on Potsdam Rooftop

Heavy overcast skies press low against the horizon where distant town lights begin to glow in the peak autumn chill. A young diver breaks the surface of an invisible pool on a windswept rooftop near Potsdam, water streaming from their dark hair and soaked clothing. The subject's face carries a weathered dignity, framed strictly by the rule of thirds with the city skyline fading behind. Wet fabric rests on the shoulders, reflecting the dim, cool light of the approaching evening. Droplets hang suspended on the edge of a hood, catching the faint orange glow of streetlamps in the distance. The texture of the wet skin contrasts with the rough, gray tiles of the roof beneath.
