Deep Sea Diver Removes Brass Helmet Near Mombasa

Bright open daylight floods the weathered doorway where a deep-sea diver stands, positioned at the right edge of the frame. The heavy brass helmet rests tilted on the diver's shoulders, its surface marked by salt stains and the dull sheen of marine use. Behind the figure, the rough stone of the Mombasa wall shows patches of peeling white paint and dark dampness from the wet season. The sky above is a sharp, cloudless blue, offering no shade to the scene. Sunlight strikes the diver's wet skin and the metal curves of the helmet, creating hard shadows that fall across the textured doorframe. one drop of water rests on the rim of the brass, waiting to slide down the curve.
