Rain-slicked earth reflects the faint orange glow of distant town lights beginning to pierce the horizon. Construction equipment nearby shows layers of dried mud and wet grime, its metal surfaces dull under the overcast sky. The chute's rusted edges contrast with the smooth, dark puddles collecting at its base.
