Wet mud rests on the edge of a construction zone where a wooden crate holding a metal manhole shim rests on the uneven ground. Golden hour light spills across the scene, illuminating dust motes that settle on the crate's rough planks. Behind the crate, a goldsmith workshop stands behind a market lane, its corrugated metal walls reflecting the fading sun. Strong site winds push the edges of a blue tarp and yellow caution tape, creating sharp, fluttering folds against the grey sky. The wet season has left puddles that mirror the orange glow of the sunset. Rust streaks run down the crate's metal hardware, against the damp, dark earth. One shadow from the caution tape falls across the crate's corner.
