Dawn Wind Farm Crane Along Nagaland River Levee

Deep shadow swallows the base of a massive wind farm crane standing guard along a concrete levee path in Nagaland. First light breaks the horizon, throwing a sharp rim of pale gold along the turbine's blade edges and the curved top of the tower. Below, the river mouth spreads wide, its surface rippling with wind-whipped ripples that catch the faint morning glow. The concrete path shows texture and wear, narrowing as it follows the water's edge. Tall grasses bend heavily against the gale, their tips blurred by motion. The structure looms large against the dim sky, its scale emphasized by the narrow strip of land and the distant water line. One metal bolt glints faintly where the light finally touches the dark steel.
