Wind Farm Cabin Along Levee in Sleet

Hard midday light strikes the gray concrete walls of a wind farm operations cabin perched above a swollen river. Steady sleet falls across the frame, blurring the white turbine blades that recede into the mist. Heavy cables drape from the structure, vibrating slightly against the stiff autumn air. The water below churns dark beneath the levee path, reflecting the flat, overcast sky. Concrete surfaces glisten with wetness, showing the texture of the flood control infrastructure. Leading lines formed by the railing and the water's edge guide the view toward the distant machinery. at the edge is a single cable clamp, dark and wet, holding the tension against the relentless rain.
