Silvery Reflection of Water Tower in Chongqing Alley

Monsoon rain coats the cracked asphalt of a Chongqing back alley, pooling into a dark mirror that shows the inverted silhouette of a towering metal water structure. Above, the deepest night sky glows with a faint, silvery winter light that flattens the wet brick walls lining the market street. Tiny droplets rest on the surface of the puddle, distorting the reflection into a shimmering, liquid outline of the tower's legs and tank. Faint outlines of market stalls hang in the blurred foreground, their shapes softened by the shallow depth of field. The wet ground reflects the dull metallic sheen of the tower, while raindrops create concentric ripples that fracture the image. One droplet slides off a rusted gutter edge, merging into the dark water below.
