Waterfall Cascading Over Mossy Terraces Near Almaty

Soft gray light from a nautical dawn washes over a tiered waterfall flowing down stepped terraces covered in deep green moss. The water moves as a continuous white ribbon against the dark, wet stone of the cascading steps. Above the falls, the ridgeline of layered foothills stretches into the distance, their slopes muted in early winter tones. A perfectly clear sky arches overhead, devoid of clouds, allowing the diffused illumination to settle evenly across the landscape. The low angle view emphasizes the height of the water's descent, making the mossy layers appear as a geological staircase. At the base of the lowest terrace, the water gathers in a still pool reflecting the pale sky and the sharp edges of the surrounding rock.
