Boys Choir Singing Evensong on Stage

Harsh fluorescent tubes cast flat, cool light across a group of young boys standing in rows on a raised theater stage. Their dark robes absorb the glare while white collars reflect the harsh beams. Thick black cables snake across the floorboards, disappearing into shadows behind the singers. Heavy stage curtains hang in the background, partially obscured by a thick layer of artificial haze that softens the edges of the scene. The low angle emphasizes the height of the boys against the dark, industrial ceiling. Wet rain streaks run down the high windows in the far distance, hinting at the monsoon outside. One metal microphone stand stands rigidly in front of the central singer, its chrome surface catching a sharp, cold reflection.
