Deep purple robes ripple as a gospel choir sways in unison within a Ghaziabad concert hall. Late afternoon sunlight falls through high windows, casting dappled patterns of gold and green across the singers' faces and the textured fabric of their garments. Stained glass panels above paint the upper walls in shards of crimson, sapphire, and amber that shift with the movement of the group.
