Boys Choir Singing Evensong Monsoon Night

Saturated amber and crimson lights wash over the stone abbey nave where a boys' choir stands in formation. The performers wear white albs and red sashes, their faces illuminated against the deep shadows of the high vaulted ceiling. Outside the tall Gothic windows, the monsoon sky presses low with heavy, dark clouds that blur the night. Foreground bokeh from wet raindrops on a nearby lens creates soft, glowing orbs that frame the singers. The stone walls show rough textures carved by centuries of weather, while the polished floor reflects the vibrant stage colors. The choir members hold their positions with focused stillness, their open mouths catching the light as they sing. One droplet of water rests on the edge of a stone column in the immediate foreground.
