Borobudur Stupa in Addis Ababa Mosque

Copper-toned light floods the prayer hall of a mosque in Addis Ababa, illuminating a central stone stupa with bell-shaped perforations. The structure stands in perfect symmetrical alignment against the warm backdrop of the wet season. Dust particles hang suspended in the shafts of golden hour light, creating visible columns that drift through the air. The stone surface of the stupa shows rough texture and weathering, against the smooth floor. The perforations in the bell shape allow the light to pass through, casting intricate geometric shadows on the ground. One beam of light rests directly on the base of the stone, highlighting the grain of the material. The scene maintains a solemn gravity without breaking physical laws.
