Biologist Collecting Insects at Marsh Edge
Water droplets rest on the fine mesh of a net held by gloved hands. A researcher stands at the marsh edge near Rudny, surrounded by tall, wet reeds bending under the weight of a light drizzle. Specimen envelopes lie open on a waterproof surface nearby, ready to receive the catch. The sky above is a uniform sheet of gray, casting a flat, even light that eliminates harsh shadows. The fabric of the gloves appears slightly saturated by the moisture. Raindrops bead on the netting fibers, distorting the view of the insects trapped inside. The focus remains sharp on the hands and the net, while the background reeds blur into soft vertical strokes of green and brown. One droplet rolls down the mesh, falling toward the wet ground below.
