Autumn Volcanic Plateau Shoreline Fumaroles

Soft, diffused light spreads evenly across a rugged volcanic plateau bordering a wave-cut shoreline near Cusco. Dry, golden grasses of peak autumn blanket the undulating ground, interspersed with patches of rust-colored earth. Thin plumes of steam rise steadily from fumaroles, their pale gray vapor drifting lazily against a perfectly clear, pale blue sky. The terrain slopes gently toward the water, revealing layers of rock and soil that recede into the distance. Textures range from the rough, jagged edges of cooled lava to the soft, matted appearance of withered vegetation. The scene maintains a quiet, weather-shaped stillness, with no movement other than the slow ascent of steam. A dark shadow falls across a rocky outcrop in the foreground, defining the depth of the landscape.
