Volcanic Shoreline Aerial View After Rain

Tropical midmorning light floods a rugged volcanic coastline where rain has just passed. Heat shimmer rises from the dark, wet rock, blurring the horizon line into a soft, vibrating haze. The surf scallops the shore in rhythmic white patterns against the black basalt. Diagonal ridges of the land slice through the frame, creating sharp tension between the solid earth and the churning water. Puddles on the uneven surface reflect the bright sky in fragmented patches. The turn of seasons leaves the vegetation sparse and scorched, showing the raw, mineral texture of the ground. A faint trail of smoke or steam drifts upward, merging with the atmospheric distortion near the water's edge.
