Autumn Red Moss Bog on Antigua Cliff Edge
Cold silver dawn light spills across a dense carpet of sphagnum moss clinging to the rugged cliff edge near Antigua. The vegetation displays vibrant autumn hues of rust-red and golden-yellow, contrasting sharply with the pale, misty air filled with fine sea spray. Droplets of moisture cling to individual moss stems, creating a glistening texture that reflects the early morning brightness. The ground appears soft and spongy, saturated from the recent rainy season. A dark rock formation anchors the lower left corner, while the horizon fades into a hazy white expanse where the ocean meets the sky. Tiny droplets suspended in the air catch the light, creating a shimmering veil over the red and gold plant life. at the edge is a single, wet moss stem standing upright, its tip tipped with a perfect, refracting water bead.
