Rain-Soaked Bondi Plaza Night Reflection

Grey concrete pavers glisten with a thin film of water, mirroring the heavy overcast sky above. A sweeping beam of white light cuts across the wet surface, originating from a nearby lighthouse structure. The beam illuminates droplets suspended in the humid air just above the ground. Dark shadows pool in the corners of the plaza near the metro entrance, against the bright, moving strip of illumination. Puddles form in the low depressions of the stone, distorting the reflection of the grey clouds. A small patch of greenery rests on the edge of the walkway, its leaves heavy with moisture. The wet texture of the stone reflects the light with a sharp, oily sheen. The edge of the beam ends abruptly against a vertical wall.
