Ancient Kashmir Wall Along Canal Morning
Soft overcast light washes the weathered stone of an ancient city wall running parallel to a calm canal in Kashmir. The crenellated battlements rise in rhythmic notches against a pale sky, their surfaces textured with age and subtle moss growth. Below, the water reflects the gray tones of the masonry and the bare branches of nearby early autumn trees. A canal-front facade anchors the left side, its aged plaster against the rougher stone of the fortification.
