Rich amber light from a dropping sun washes over a narrow concrete sluice gate slot. Deep orange rust stains coat the interior walls, against the weathered gray surface of the surrounding structure. Below, massive transmission tower legs rise vertically out of the frame, anchoring the scene beneath heavy overcast skies. The perspective looks directly down from a high angle, revealing the engineered clarity of the slot's straight lines. Early autumn is visible through the damp sheen on the stone, suggesting recent moisture. A final streak of bright orange pigment runs along the bottom edge where water once flowed.
