Rusted Blast Furnace Cathedral in Hoima Corridor

North-window sidelight cuts across the rusted iron skin of a massive abandoned blast furnace, transforming its industrial ribs into a sacred cathedral form. The reddish-orange corrosion contrasts with the cool gray of the surrounding prayer wheel corridor. Early afternoon sun casts long, sharp shadows that trace the leading lines of the metal structure toward the distant archway. Dust motes hang suspended in the light beams, settling on the weathered concrete floor where prayer wheels stand in silent rows. The turn of seasons is visible in the dry, peeling paint flaking from the furnace's base, while the texture of oxidized metal dominates the foreground. A final streak of light highlights the edge of a rusted beam against the dark interior shadow.
