Winter Ferry Crossing Kayak Under Night Sky

Deep shadow cloaks a solitary fishing kayak floating on the dark, glassy water of a Welsh ferry crossing. A thin rim of pale light traces the gunwales and the bow, separating the vessel from the surrounding gloom. Heavy winter fog rolls across the surface, softening the horizon where the water meets the sky. The water remains still, reflecting the faint outline of the kayak against the blackness. Occasional ripples disturb the surface near the hull, catching the minimal ambient glow. A faint trail of wake extends behind the boat, fading into the mist. The dark silhouette of the kayak sits low in the water, its shape defined only by the sharp, electric edge of the rim light cutting through the fog.
