Solitary Kayak in Misty Cartagena Waters

Thick gray mist swallows the horizon, leaving only a narrow band of wet-season water visible beneath a flat midday sky. One fishing kayak drifts in the center of this vast expanse, its hull reflecting the pale, diffuse light bouncing off the surrounding surface. The water appears glassy and still, disturbed only by the faint wake trailing behind the vessel. Distant mangrove outlines fade into the white fog, their dark green leaves barely distinguishable from the mist. The kayak sits low in the water, its plastic texture smooth and unblemished against the soft gray backdrop. A small fishing rod leans against the side, casting a thin, dark shadow that stretches across the deck. The scene ends with the kayak's bow cutting through a ripple of silver water.
