Cool blue light washes over a wide, frozen river channel where a wooden felucca rests against the ice. Mist rises gently from the dark water, softening the distant banks lined with snow-laden spruce trees. The boat's curved hull contrasts with the jagged ice edges, its warm wood tones standing out against the gray and blue palette. Converging lines of the riverbank draw toward a distant vanishing point where the fog thickens. Frost rests on the rigging, and the stillness of the scene reflects the deep winter cold. One reflection of the hull breaks the icy surface near the bow.
