Rain slicks the surface of a harbor mouth in Sicily, where a bright yellow duck-shaped pedal boat drifts near the edge. Thick fog wraps around the water, softening the distant stone breakwaters and the rusted metal of the pier. The setting sun casts a low, gray-orange glow that reflects in the wet ripples, illuminating the plastic texture of the boat's beak and eyes. Fine droplets of rain hang suspended in the air, catching the fading light. The water remains dark and choppy, against the vibrant yellow hull. One metal mooring cleat, wet and dark, anchors the boat against the gray tide.
