Weathered Pulley on Velvet Chair in Isfahan

A rusted metal pulley rests against the front of an aged wooden cabinet, its surface marked by deep cracks and patches of green oxidation. The cabinet's paint chips away in rough flakes, revealing layers of decay beneath. Indirect late-afternoon light bounces softly off pale walls, illuminating the chipped edges without harsh shadows. To the side, a section of dark velvet chair fabric provides a textured contrast to the hard metal. Small highlights catch on the smooth, polished curves of the pulley wheel, standing out against the matte, crumbling wood. The early autumn air is silent, yet the visual texture suggests years of stillness. A fine line of shadow falls across the lowest crack in the paint.
