Weathered Balcony in Izmir

Golden hour light washes over a weathered stucco wall in Izmir, its cracked paint peeling in flakes of ochre and faded turquoise to reveal the rough lime beneath. A wrought-iron balcony railing casts long, sharp shadows across the textured surface, while a single ladder-back chair sits abandoned on the tiled floor, its wood grain darkened by age. Beside it, a glass sugar jar catches the low sun, its surface reflecting the warm orange glow of the sky. In the background, a paper fan rests against the wall, its delicate ribs catching the breeze from the Aegean.
