North window sidelight washes the room in a soft, cool glow that defines the textures of a handmade cushion resting on a wooden kitchen bench. The fabric, repurposed from an old curtain, displays a faded floral pattern in muted earth tones, stitched with visible, slightly uneven thread lines that speak to domestic labor. Sunlight hits the top edge of the cushion, highlighting the raised texture of the weave while casting gentle shadows into the deep folds. The bench surface shows a worn, matte finish, against the slight sheen of the fabric. Along the floor, muted reflections of the window frame stretch across the dusty wood, at the base of the object in a quiet, sheltered space.
