Umbria Dawn Washboard With Giant Mushrooms
Early morning light spills over a weathered washboard leaning against a stone utility sink in an Umbrian courtyard. The air holds a damp, salty chill as dramatic clouds gather above rolling hills. Giant mushrooms, their caps spanning the width of the washboard, sprout from the damp earth near the sink base. Patches of soap residue rest on the ridges of the board, while a ball of damp cotton rests in the sink basin. The scene layers depth with distant cypress trees fading into the mist. Shadows stretch long across the cobblestones, revealing the texture of the mushroom gills and the rough grain of the wood. one drop of water slides down the side of the largest cap.
